I wish I could tell you this was an old family recipe, but alas, it was on one of those free recipe cards found in a grocery store. But it’s really good and makes a fantastic appetizer or meal for any time of day.

Ham & Cheese Biscuit Bites

Ingredients:

  • 1 egg
  • 2 Tbsp milk
  • 1 (16.3oz) package of refrigerated biscuit dough
  • 2.5 oz of deli ham, cut into small bits (You could also use pkg of pre-cooked bacon cut into 1/2 in. pieces. It’s really good this way too!)
  • 3/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Directions:

Heat oven to 350. Butter a 2 quart baking dish. In a large bowl, whisk together egg and milk.

Ham & Cheese Biscuit Bites

Cut biscuit dough into fourths. Gently stir biscuit pieces into egg mixture to coat evenly.

Ham & Cheese Biscuit Bites

Fold in ham and cheese. Spoon mixture into baking dish in a single layer. (This dish was a bit too big, but it still turned out good!)

Ham & Cheese Biscuit Bites

Bake 23 to 28 minutes or until golden brown. Cut into squares.

Enjoy!
