I wish I could tell you this was an old family recipe, but alas, it was on one of those free recipe cards found in a grocery store. But it’s really good and makes a fantastic appetizer or meal for any time of day.
Ingredients:
- 1 egg
- 2 Tbsp milk
- 1 (16.3oz) package of refrigerated biscuit dough
- 2.5 oz of deli ham, cut into small bits (You could also use pkg of pre-cooked bacon cut into 1/2 in. pieces. It’s really good this way too!)
- 3/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese
Directions:
Heat oven to 350. Butter a 2 quart baking dish. In a large bowl, whisk together egg and milk.
Cut biscuit dough into fourths. Gently stir biscuit pieces into egg mixture to coat evenly.
Fold in ham and cheese. Spoon mixture into baking dish in a single layer. (This dish was a bit too big, but it still turned out good!)
Bake 23 to 28 minutes or until golden brown. Cut into squares.
Enjoy!
