I’ve always been a huge fan of setting goals. And not just small ones, either – I like set BIG goals too. Over the years, I’ve learned a lot about setting goals from several different resources.
Today I’m listing out some of my favorites and why I think they’ll be helpful for you, too.
Courses, Trainings, and Other resources:
The Organized Life Planner
This is my go-to planner for keeping my life on track! I love how it combines household stuff, meal planning, priorities, and so much more into one awesome planner! You can read a little more about it in the post I wrote on how I organize my life as a WAHM.
The Business Lounge
This has been one of the best investments I’ve made for my business. If you are an online business owner, you will want to check it out! Kim is an awesome coach and the lounge includes a bunch of amazing content, including courses on goal setting, productivity, and so much more.
Productivity Guide for Bloggers
This resource from Ruth Soukup of Living Well Spending Less has been really valuable and inspiring. It has definitely motivated me to cut back distractions – I unfollowed a lot of people and things on Facebook and have cleaned up my email inbox so far.
Makeover Your Year
I haven’t yet taken this course by Crystal and Jesse Paine (from Money Saving Mom) but if it’s anything like her other courses, Makeover Your Evenings and Makeover Your Mornings, it is more than worth it in value.
Books:
12 Week Year
I read this book at the beginning of 2016 and it was really motivating. In fact, I’m thinking of re-reading it to better put the principles into practice.
Make it Happen
A good portion of this book tells Lara Casey’s personal story but at the end it dives into some steps for goal setting and planning.
Quitter & Start
These books by Jon Acuff were really motivating and inspiring when I read them as I was starting my online business. He makes some really great points, plus they’re funny.
Goal setting doesn’t have to be hard! These resources have helped me set goals and grow each year. Sure it takes work, but the guidance provided makes it quite a bit easier to figure out goal setting. If they can do it for me, they can for you too!
