I have to admit, I’m addicted to free books. Fiction, business, cooking, all kinds of free books. They are easier to come by than you might expect. Granted, they are all ebooks, but you don’t have to have a Kindle or Nook or any kind of special reader for them. Amazon offers free reader to download or you can use the cloud reader. Some of them even come in PDF format. Here are some of my favorite places to find free e-books:
- Amazon.com – search for “free kindle books.”
- theprudentreader.blogspot.com – this blog features children’s books and business books. It also links the “The Prudent Pantry” blog where they feature other free e-books.
- moneysavingmom.com – Every few days there are usually links to different free e-books. [UPDATE: She has a whole new site dedicated to eBooks! www.ereadergirl.com]
4. http://dccebooks.com – This website lists a different free e-book every week.
