I’ve never really understood how some people can magically keep their to-do list stored in their head when there are so many other things to think about and keep track of! Then again, it is also a learned habit, as most of my family likes to make lists too!
My Top 5 Reasons to Make Lists
1. They help you stay organized! You can add on to it as you think of things that need to be done.
2. It helps you stay productive. When you have a list of things you know are waiting to be done, it makes you more likely to do them than if you just think about it. At least that’s true for me, anyway.
3. It gives you the satisfaction of checking off an item when the task is accomplished.
*Side note: If you have an off day and little to nothing on your to-do list actually gets done, just add what you actually did do so you can check it off! Trust me, it will help you feel better about your day.
4. It will gives you more time to really relax. Sure, you can rest while things are still waiting to be done. But when you are all done with your tasks for the day, you will rest much better knowing everything is completed. Plus, you will have more time to work on something that you have been putting off for awhile, or something fun!
5. Making lists is fun! Or maybe that’s just me..
