You can have a beautifully decorated home this Christmas for a few dollars and small amount of effort.
Our “mantle” happens to be in the basement, which is still pretty much a storage space for now until we have time to turn it back into a family room. So, “our stockings were hung on the cabinet with care.” If you don’t have stockings, they can be bought for less than $1 and hung wherever you please.
Real or artificial, Christmas wreaths are everywhere to be found and are the perfect way to adorn your front door for the Christmas season.
I just love seeing “candles” in windows at Christmastime. It is just so simple, but so pretty. Obviously, real candles aren’t a good idea if there are curtains or small children around. I found my battery-operated “candles” at the dollar store and I love them! Candles in the window is a great reminder of why we celebrate Christmas, that Jesus came to save and be the Light of the world.
