10 Minute Routines

Happy New Year! I always enjoy reading about other people’s goals and plans so I thought I would share mine as we begin 2026.

For me, this year feels less like a “fresh start” and more like a continuation. I don’t really have any “new” goals or projects. Just things I started in 2025 and want to continue throughout 2026.

“Continuation” Goals for 2026

For example, I last year I got several areas of our home decluttered and reorganized. This year I have a few more rooms and closets to go.

Another example is cooking from scratch. I made big strides in 2025. But there’s more to learn this year.

I’m also feeling a sense of pulling back and slowing down. Calm and peace is the theme. Along with more “real life” and less screens.

I still have a cute notebook where I wrote things down (because of course.)

Small Goals for 2026

Here is a preview of my smaller and slower goals for 2026:

Personal Goals:

Read one nonfiction book per month.

Get my health back on track, meal prep and exercise.

Home Goals:

A couple areas that need reorganized. Office, bedrooms, and closets.

A few small projects done. Doors replaced.

Have a big garden.

More family nights – movies, games, puzzles, etc.

Business Goals:

More real life writings like this to connect in a world that’s filling up with AI and nonsense.

Monthly Reset Formula - Get the toolkit to start each month with a solid, doable plan

A Different Approach This Year

To be honest, it feels a lot different this year. I usually have some big, flashy goals ready to go and hit the ground running in January.

But I’m excited to see what this year hold and what the slower pace will bring.

Let me know: Did you set big goals this year? Small goals? Zero goals? I want to hear about it in the comments!
