So, I have a major weakness for french fries. But the fast-food variety isn’t exactly the healthiest choice. So lately whenever a craving hits, I make my own! It took a lot of trial and error, but this is the basic recipe that I have stuck with for awhile. Experiment with it and see what works for you!
1. Preheat the oven to 425. Slice a potato(s) nice and thin. If you make them too thick they will take for-ev-er to cook.
Step 2: Spray with some spray butter and sprinkle with your seasonings of choice (mine are salt, pepper, and a bit of garlic powder.)
Step 3: Bake for about 20 minutes, remove from oven and spray with some more butter. Continue baking for 5-10 minutes, or until the desired done-ness. I like mine a little soft, so another 10 minutes is usually good. However, if you want them to be more crispy, you will probably need to leave them in for a little longer.
Step 4: Enjoy!
