This is a recipe I found on Pinterest, though the actual pin linked to a different recipe. Isn’t that frustrating? Anyway, I had the ingredients on hand and I wanted to try it out. They turned out pretty good for a guilt-free snack.
Ingredients:
- 1 banana
- 1/2 cup quick cooking oats
- 1 spoonful of peanut butter
- 1/4 cup chocolate chips
Mix all ingredients together. I think I’ll use a hand mixer next time, but they folded together ok.
Scoop dough onto cookie sheet.
Bake for about 10 minutes at 350F or until slightly browned.
Enjoy!
Oh! That looks simple enough for even me to try! I only have rolled oats. WOnder how that will go! Yum!
I’m sure rolled oats will work just as well, especially if you blend them a bit first. Thanks for stopping by!
Oh boy — if you eat 10 of them, do they still count as energy “bites”? I’ve so got to try these! And then have my husband hide them in his office to be rationed out…
Haha I suppose they could just be made into cookies too 😉
